Norfolk, VA (February 5th, 2025) – Virginia Beach City FC is seeking host families to open their homes to players for the 2025 NPSL season. Hosting an athlete is more than just providing a place to stay—it’s about offering support, community, and a sense of belonging to a young player striving to reach the next level in their career.
As a host family, you will play a crucial role in a player’s journey, giving them the stability they need to focus on their development on and off the field. In return, host families receive exclusive perks, including season passes, team gear, and private soccer sessions with their host player.
Host Family Responsibilities
VBCITY FC host families play a vital role in supporting our athletes by providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home environment throughout the season. Host families are expected to offer:
- A private, air-conditioned bedroom to ensure the player has a quiet and restful space.
- Access to essential home amenities, including laundry, a bathroom, and kitchen facilities.
- A supportive and welcoming atmosphere to help the player adjust to their temporary home.
- Respect for the player’s privacy and independence as they focus on training, competition, and personal growth.
