Founder, President

Steven A. Wagoner is the Co Founder, and Chief Operating Officer of Nexus Street, LLC, a privately held consulting and investment development company headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia in Greater Washington D.C. Nexus Street has grown and assisted business units generating multiple billions in contract awards and revenue, assisted in managing business units with up to $250M in annual revenue and programs of over $500M.

Mr. Wagoner founded Virginia Beach City FC, a National Premier Soccer League expansion team awarded by the NPSL in 2013. The team began play in 2014 with their home matches at the Virginia Beach Sportplex, a $6.8M custom built soccer specific stadium. Virginia Beach City FC is the first soccer club in Hampton Roads, Virginia to provide the full player development pyramid from youth to amateur / professional on a year round basis.

Under his ownership, VB City FC has found success on the field earning a Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Berth, two NPSL playoff appearances and a NPSL Mid Atlantic Regular Season Conference Championship Title. The club also owns operates a minor league women's franchise under the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL).

Mr. Wagoner previously owned and operated D.C. United of Major League Soccer’s affiliate semi professional team, D.C. United U23 NPSL in 2013 and 2014. Under Wagoner’s tenure the team earned a Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Berth, NPSL Mid Atlantic Conference Regular Season Championship Title and NPSL Playoff Berth. During the inaugural season, the team was coached by D.C. United legend, Jaime Moreno.

Mr. Wagoner received a B.S. Degree from George Mason University with concentrations in Sport Management and Business Administration. He was a member of the GMU NCAA I Men’s Soccer Team - CAA Champions, NCAA Tournament Berth and Top 20 National Rankings.

Mr. Wagoner serves on the Board of Directors for the National Premier Soccer League, 2013-Present.
