Norfolk, VA (November 17th, 2023) Virginia Beach City FC announced today the club has launched its Host Family Program for prospective Virginia Beach City FC Semi-Pro NPSL players. Effective immediately, families across Hampton Roads can apply to become hosts for players that come from outside the region to play for Virginia Beach City FC. This homestay program offers a unique opportunity for local families to connect with high-level players from around the world while supporting each aspiring player’s dreams of becoming a professional.

As a host family, you play a crucial role in fostering a positive and welcoming environment for these talented players. In return, you’ll receive a range of exclusive benefits, including:
- Five (5) 2024 NPSL Season Pass Lanyards for Admission to all 2024 Home Games (Pre-Season, Regular Season, Friendlies & Playoffs)

Host Period: May 1 to July 31
Ideal host families will:
- Provide a clean and safe home with a private bedroom and access to a bathroom. If housing two players, both players may share a room. However, host players should not share a room with family members.
- Provide access to a laundry room to clean clothes.
- Include the players as part of the family’s daily lives and activities as appropriate.
Host families will not be responsible for the transportation of host players to and from games or practices.
